GABBEH WOOL HAND-WOVEN CARPET WITH PLANT DYES

Woven by Shirdast Monfared, whose name is left on the carpet in English, a common feature in Persian carpets exported to Europe and the U.S. in the 1920-30s. Shirdast means "lion's hand" in Persian, which is quite interesting.
